Treating Those We Appreciate
Treating Those We Appreciate This Halloween
When we think of Halloween treats, we often think of children, but the teachers, bus drivers, sitters, and (of course!) nannies in our lives also deserve some extra sweetness this season.
Our convenient, printable tags make it a snap to deliver Pinterest-perfect recognition to those who give us so much. Choose from two sizes and two designs to add the finishing touch to your gift.
We attached our tags to tasty apples from a local, woman-owned business, Locust Creek Caramel Apples (@locustcreekapples). We also attached a Graeter’s gift card to sweeten the pot. Below, we’ve linked some other treat ideas that can be found locally:
Black Stonewear Mug filled with candy
Nordstrom Gift Card (How fa-BOO-lous!)
A restaurant gift card
For best results, print your tags on cardstock or in a pinch, cut out the tag and glue it to thicker backing. (We mounted our tag on a blank greeting card— easy, peasy). Add a matching ribbon and voila! A thoughtful treat for the treasured people in your—and your child’s— lives.
In these busy days of seasonal fun, taking a moment to show appreciation carries even more weight. It really is the little things that mean the most.
As we transition from spooky season to the quintessential month of thankfulness, we can scoop up these opportunities to teach our children to appreciate all of the blessings in their lives. This week, consider treating your children and your village for a happier Halloween for all.
